KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Act as the point of contact for matters related to Collateral/Banking/Clearing/Settlements to ensure effective and efficient client support is provided to all Members;
- Maintain Collateral and Concentration Requirements including collecting Collateral to satisfy the margin calls via securities pledge or cash, managing customers’ timely flow of funds to/from CDCC;
- Facilitate clearing CDCC member transactions for Montreal Exchange listed derivatives products.
- Perform a daily Cash Reconciliation of the various currency accounts with CDCC Settlement Banks;
- Ensure timely completion of the daily netting cycles, payment processing and settlements including Payment Exchange and End of Day obligations;
- Ensure participants/members meet their trade settlement obligations;
- Support the Montreal Exchange with client trade adjustments and new products/listings;
- Provide guidance and solutions to internal teams and external clients;
- Support the Business Continuity Program, Disaster Recovery Program, Default Simulation and other testing exercises;
- Interact with Internal and External Audit, Regulators, Technology, Client Services, Risk, as well as internal departments;
- Adhere strictly to internal procedures, rules, audit requirements and internal controls verification processes;
- Recommend changes to existing processes, services and procedures to ensure excellent customer service, and that we operate in an efficient and effective environment;
- Lead and assist with projects and special assignments including system configuration as required.
