Responsibilities
  • (As part of a larger team) configure, test, maintain and optimise Workday system at NewDay, ensuring data integrity while improving system functionality.
  • Execute advanced configuration tasks in Workday, such as business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, EIB, and security roles.
  • Manage the JIRA ticketing board of the team (through which system Change Requests are submitted)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR system issues, escalating technical problems when necessary
  • Coordinate system upgrades, testing and implementation of new features or modules
  • Produce and maintain system process documentation
  • Provide training to end users where appropriate
  • Work with the Head of Digital People Solutions and People Leadership Team to prioritise work considering alignment to strategy, effort required and level of impact
  • Work closely with colleagues across the People Team (and occasionally the wider business) to understand requirements
  • Work with IT teams to collaborate on more complex changes, e.g. integrations
  • Work with external providers e.g. AMS/system partners to deliver solutions
