Responsibilities
(As part of a larger team) configure, test, maintain and optimise Workday system at NewDay, ensuring data integrity while improving system functionality.
Execute advanced configuration tasks in Workday, such as business processes, condition rules, calculated fields, EIB, and security roles.
Manage the JIRA ticketing board of the team (through which system Change Requests are submitted)
Serve as the first point of contact for HR system issues, escalating technical problems when necessary
Coordinate system upgrades, testing and implementation of new features or modules
Produce and maintain system process documentation
Provide training to end users where appropriate
Work with the Head of Digital People Solutions and People Leadership Team to prioritise work considering alignment to strategy, effort required and level of impact
Work closely with colleagues across the People Team (and occasionally the wider business) to understand requirements
Work with IT teams to collaborate on more complex changes, e.g. integrations
Work with external providers e.g. AMS/system partners to deliver solutions
