GENERAL DESCRIPTION:    The Specialist, E-Commerce Marketplace Listings, is responsible for managing, publishing, validating, and optimizing product listings across all online marketplaces connected to Performance Discounters, including eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and other eTail-linked sales channels.   This role functions as the operational connection between ongoing product-content creation and marketplace readiness. The specialist ensures that all listings are complete, accurate, compliant with platform requirements, and fully optimized for visibility and performance. This includes monitoring and validating downstream content flow from eTail to ensure updates are successfully reflected across all active marketplaces.   As product sourcing and content volume increase, this role maintains the end-to-end listing process to ensure products are prepared and published efficiently across all channels. Additionally, the specialist will also support automation initiatives and oversee exceptions that require manual validation   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Marketplace Listing Management * Create, upload, and maintain product listings across eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Shopify, and additional marketplace platforms. * Ensure listing accuracy regarding titles, descriptions, images, attributes, SEO keywords, pricing, categorization, and platform-specific guidelines. * Identify and correct listing errors, suppressed listings, incomplete data, and formatting issues.   Content Publishing, Validation & Monitoring * Publish product content from eTail and validate successful downstream updates across all connected sales channels. * Monitor for discrepancies or delays in content flow and resolve issues to maintain listing quality and timeliness. * Track, clear, and reduce listing backlogs currently numbering in the thousands. * Highlight issues that impact speed-to-market and escalate when needed to maintain cadence.   Cross-Functional Collaboration * Partner with product content, merchandising, pricing, procurement, and inventory teams to ensure accurate and timely updates. * Coordinate with 3rd party marketplace representatives when listing errors, compliance updates, or quality improvements are required. * Support promotional campaigns, merchandising initiatives, and seasonal category updates across marketplaces.   Performance Tracking & Optimization * Monitor and report on listing completeness, turnaround time, error rates, suppression reasons, and marketplace health indicators. * Optimize listings for improved search visibility, conversion, and customer experience. * Assist with product feed management, bulk uploads, CSV file maintenance, and marketplace integration tools.   Future State Support * Assist in laying groundwork for increased automation of content publishing processes. * Serve as the primary human validator and exception-handler for automated workflows once implemented. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: * Strong attention to detail and technological proficiency, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume eCommerce environment. * Demonstrated ability in eCommerce listing management or product-content operations. * Excellent written communication, proofreading, and content-editing skills. * Ability to manage high volumes of listings and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. * Understanding of SEO, marketplace search algorithms, product taxonomy, and categorization. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CSV file formats; experience with bulk uploads preferred. * Ability to learn and work across multiple platforms (eTail, Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, Walmart Seller Center, Shopify Admin). * Strong organizational, time-management, and cross-team collaboration skills. * Customer-centric mindset with a focus on high-quality marketplace presentation.   EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: * Associate degree required. Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. * 1–2 years of experience in eCommerce marketplace management, listing creation, or digital product content. * Experience with Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub, Walmart Seller Center, or Shopify strongly preferred. * Automotive, tire, or wheel knowledge is beneficial but not required.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Operates primarily in an office environment with occasional work inside retail operations as needed. * Regular use of computers, phones, and standard office equipment. * Frequent sitting, standing, walking, listening, and speaking. * Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds. * Ability to use hands and arms to handle, reach, and perform computer-based tasks.
