Description
Overview Celanese is searching for a Specialist, EHS Process Safety. Ensure 24/7 Teams are effectively using unit procedures, best practices are implemented, and incident learnings are applied to prevent drift. Knowledge of process, product and equipment to effectively develop and execute training programs. Trains personnel to have skill and knowledge to perform their role with maximum effectiveness. Responsibilities Field evaluation of procedure usage as defined by SQRE plan. Core team member for MOCs. Responsible for keeping the SOP, EOP, and CONOPS material updated. Responsible for effective Conduct of Operations Protocols in place for the team. Maintain training record documentation in accordance with retention policies. Ensures quality related SOP’s, control plans and learnings are shared within Unit. Responsible of the team unit knowledge certification and progression. Responsible for implementation and development technical training for knowledge transfer and personnel development. Builds strategy around training and knowledge support. Execute operational training, including special emerging issues. Continuously monitors and tests the application of technical knowledge in field and process activities. Detect potential training gaps and develops action plans to correct deviations. Leader of the new hire, transfers, or interns through the on-boarding unit process and progression development stages. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience with facilitating trainings and/or safety processes. Understands technology of process, product and equipment. Skilled in people development and teaching. Communicates effectively.
Responsibilities
The specialist is responsible for ensuring 24/7 teams adhere to unit procedures and best practices, developing and executing technical training programs, and maintaining essential documentation like SOPs and EOPs. Key duties include field evaluation of procedure usage, serving as a core team member for Management of Change (MOC) processes, and leading new hire onboarding and progression development.
