Yanfeng Safety Systems in Kragujevac is seeking an EHS Specialist who will support the implementation of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) standards aimed at minimizing the risk of workplace injuries and occupational illnesses. The role is responsible for helping ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and company standards across the manufacturing facility.   Main Responsibilities * Responsible for implementing occupational health and safety, fire protection, and ergonomic assessment measures. * Participates in defining control measures to reduce risks and exposure to workplace injuries. * Responsible for entering and regularly updating data in the corporate Environmental, Health and Safety Information System (EHSIS). * Identifies, develops, facilitates, and delivers appropriate environmental training programs at the plant. * Ensures that all new equipment complies with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. * Assesses EHS hazards and develops proactive strategies to address risks and operational inefficiencies. * Serves as the primary contact with external agencies, such as fire departments and other relevant authorities. * Ensures that employees are properly trained and comply with all applicable standards and procedures. * Responsible for managing the certification process in accordance with applicable standards. * Prepares and implements EHS systems and procedures and participates in projects aimed at improving EHS performance. * Ensures that the facility complies with IF and iOS requirements, as well as all applicable environmental, health, and safety legislation, including compliance with all air, water, and waste permits and other specific regulatory requirements. * Acts as the plant's EHS Management Representative and advises site management on Environmental, Health, and Safety matters. * Assists in accident investigations, ensures that all required reports are completed, and recommends appropriate corrective actions. * Maintains and updates safety, fire protection, ergonomics, environmental hazard, and environmental impact assessments, and defines and monitors corrective actions. * Responsible for maintaining the plant's first aid facilities, providing first aid in the event of occupational injuries or illnesses, and maintaining first aid treatment records.   Requirements: - Bachelor's degree (minimum 240 ECTS credits) in an academic or professional study program within the fields of Engineering and Technology or Natural Sciences, including Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Physical Chemistry. - Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. - Professional certifications in Occupational Health & Safety and Fire Protection      Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
