We’re a top-tier ASX-listed company helping to make the world a safer place through creating a stronger and more resilient business and enabling our portfolio of iconic insurance brands Your Role Our Claims Platform Services Team within the Claims and Customer Communications Platform is looking for an experienced Environments Specialist and you could be it! With your experience in Environment management and DevOps technologies, you will enable our claims platform team to deploy, release & monitor changes efficiently, securely, and reliably. Your drive to innovate and continuously improve, will not only increase the capabilities of our delivery team, but will also play a critical role in identifying technical solutions in our business. With superb stakeholder management skills, you will be able to engage with our internal and external stakeholders evenly and support the team with thought leadership. Some of the key responsibilities of this role will be: - Lead and support cloud migration of applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions aligned with enterprise architecture. Drive environment management by developing governance strategies, standards, and automation to uplift stability and availability. Implement and maintain observability frameworks including monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure platform reliability and performance. Design and automate environment provisioning processes to enable efficient, secure, and scalable deployments. Provide technical expertise on environment and DevOps practices, supporting teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement. Enable secure, robust, and scalable digital experiences for customers, colleagues, and partners. Bring thought leadership to support strategic planning and execution across platforms. Contribute to organizational performance through innovation, managed risk, and collaborative input. Support future growth by managing products and services across teams and platforms. This is a full time permanent opportunity based ideally in Naarm (Melbourne) or Gadigal country (Sydney) Full time, part time, and job-sharing arrangements will be considered. About You The successful candidate will have: Extensive experience in within a complex technology operating environment in a similar role. Strong Environment management experience implementing & driving environment management best practices and governance standards at scale.
