Here is what you will be doing:

  • Foster Inclusive Collaboration: Build and maintain strong working relationships with diverse teams, grounded in mutual respect and inclusivity. Engage with colleagues who bring a broad range of lived experiences, contributing to a vibrant and innovative workplace culture.
  • Manage Multiple Portfolios: Navigate a variety of portfolios and respond proactively to emerging needs and challenges, even when deadlines compete. Demonstrate adaptability and strategic prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Work Planning: Develop clear work plans by identifying necessary resources and supports. Take initiative to secure what you need to exceed objectives and deliver on commitments.
  • Progress Tracking and Analysis: Work closely with the Manager to track activities across portfolios, providing insightful analysis on progress, identifying new opportunities, and flagging potential risks.

  • Advance Equity Vision: Engage teams across the organization to apply an equity lens to all work streams. Identify opportunities to embed and enable the OH EIDA framework throughout the organization.

  • Team Support: Collaborate closely with your team, supporting both the Manager and Director to ensure coordinated efforts and achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Ensure Cohesive Activities: Maintain strong attention to detail to align activities across portfolios and help the organization move forward seamlessly and effectively.

Here is what you will need to be successful:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in relevant field
  • At least two to three years of job experience in a relevant role
  • A strong anti-oppression and equity lens and the demonstrated ability to apply it to an organizational setting, as well as an ability to navigate complex conversations about discrimination and inequities

Knowledge and Skills

  • Effective communication skills, including written, for items such as presentations, meeting minutes, and briefing notes
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Negotiation and problem-solving skills, including working to build consensus
  • Ability to effectively synthesize information into key take aways
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • A self-starter who also escalates matters to the Manager, when necessary
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience and/or knowledge in developing and executing program and project evaluation is an asset
