We're Hiring | Specialist Family Medicine– Abu Dhabi, UAE 📍 Location: Abu Dhabi 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Family Medicine to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary healthcare services to individuals and families of all ages. The role involves diagnosing and managing acute and chronic medical conditions, promoting preventive healthcare, and coordinating patient care with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient primary healthcare services for patients across all age groups. Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Conduct routine health assessments, annual physical examinations, and preventive screenings. Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress. Promote preventive healthcare through patient education, vaccinations, and lifestyle counseling. Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and hyperlipidemia. Interpret laboratory investigations, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical tests. Perform minor office-based procedures as appropriate within the scope of practice. Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate continuity of care. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education. Adhere to the Department of Health (DOH) Abu Dhabi regulations, hospital policies, and international clinical standards. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to deliver integrated patient care. Qualifications MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. MD/DNB/Master's Degree in Family Medicine or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification. Valid DOH Abu Dhabi License or DOH Eligibility Letter. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS is an added advantage. Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization clinical experience in Family Medicine is preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, diagnostic, and patient management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
