Your role, your impact Provide individual and, where qualified, couples counselling to promote recovery and healing from abuse, family violence, trauma, and loss. Use trauma-informed approaches, prioritising relationship safety and recovery. Continuously assess risk and create safety plans using the MARAM and Child Wellbeing frameworks. Collaborate with clients, families, and external stakeholders (police, lawyers, child protection, etc.) to ensure safety and positive outcomes. Refer clients to appropriate services and support, and participate in group and individual activities. Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a supportive, inclusive workplace. Who we’re looking for Minimum three years’ experience in family violence, trauma counselling, or related fields. Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Counselling, or equivalent.
