Position Available: Specialist Family Violence Practitioner
Employment Type: Permanent / Part-Time, 30 hrs per week (0.8FTE)
Location: Samaritan House, Mackay
Work Type: Hybrid (on-site and outreach)
Work Day/Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (negotiable)
Classification: SCHADS Award Level 5

About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to join our Mackay based Family Violence team. This hybrid role provides place-based case management support across both refuge and outreach services, assisting adult and child victim-survivors who are currently experiencing or have previously experienced family violence.
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and effective support services that prioritise safety, recovery, and empowerment—guided by a feminist framework and The Salvation Army’s values.
