As an IT Solutions Operations & Support Specialist, you will provide guidance and operational support for solutions provided by Group IT. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our IT infrastructure and applications, contributing to both short- and long-term solutions within Rio Tinto.

Our Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) team is dedicated to designing and implementing innovative solutions to support our operations. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our IS&T team in the Operations & Support functional area.
Key Responsibilities
The IT Solutions Operations & Support Specialist serves as a Subject Matter Expert within relevant Operations and Support disciplines across Rio Tinto, providing invaluable expertise to both internal teams and external stakeholders in IS&T Applications and Technology operations. They adeptly manage medium-sized contracts, ensuring efficient and effective vendor relationships. This role is pivotal in delivering timely updates to stakeholders and decision-makers, facilitating informed decision-making processes. Additionally, they play a crucial role in data compilation and analysis for management reporting and metrics, offering valuable insights to drive operational improvements. Furthermore, they offer specialist support to managers and staff, assisting in the development of practical solutions to complex challenges. Collaborating closely with vendors and support teams, they provide guidance and direction to ensure the successful delivery of operations and support services, leveraging their functional and business process experience. Lastly, they facilitate knowledge transfer between the Build pillar and relevant vendors, ensuring seamless support transitions and empowering vendors with the necessary expertise to fulfill their support requirements.
