Description
Perform complex, accounting analysis for enterprise-wide reserves and allowances in accordance with company policy and US GAAP. Partner with various corporate and operational cross-functional teams for the purpose of supplying or explaining data, providing advice on accounting matters or driving process improvements Analyze global financial results to gain an understanding of the key business drivers Provide day-to-day support and oversight for one team member with a focus on doing the right work in the right place at the right time. Assist with audit requests from internal and external auditors Oversee and analyze results for certain corporate expenses Prepare and analyze consolidated monthly forecast and annual profit plan Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for certain reserves and allowances. Participate or lead special projects/process improvements to help drive efficiencies in the finance organization Evaluate complex accounting matters in accordance with US GAAP Ensuring effectiveness of controls and compliance with company policies. Minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required. Minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience required.. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates currently located within a 50 mile radius of Beachwood, OH will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Working experience at large public accounting firm or multinational corporation. Position Criteria: Analytical thinking Ability to express the complex in simple, easy-to-grasp ways, verbally and in writing Is curious, inquisitive and comfortable challenging the status quo Strong drive for results Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse set of people to get things done with and through others Working knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle, SAP and FCCS as well as Microsoft Power Apps.
