Reporting to the Superintendent Forecasting, accountabilities for the position will include:

  • Delivering in-depth analytics to identify root causes of asset performance issues and their impact on the end-to-end supply chain
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with site stakeholders to collaboratively solve problems
  • Clearly communicating the current performance of each site, including potential impacts on the Integrated Plan
  • Applying a deep understanding of site-specific constraints to develop accurate baseline capacities based on demonstrated performance
  • Supporting quarterly and annual planning activities that contribute to the Rio Tinto Quarterly Forecast
  • Conducting ad hoc analyses to evaluate asset performance and support continuous improvement within the productivity framewor
Responsibilities

Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s Integrated Scheduling and Planning team is seeking a skilled Specialist Forecasting to lead and govern the quarterly forecasting parameter process across operational assets.

Reporting to the Superintendent Forecasting, accountabilities for the position will include:
