Title: Specialist, FP&A - R&D   About Hikma For more than 40 years, we have been developing, manufacturing and marketing branded generic medicines in the MENA region. We have US FDA inspected facilities in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.   Job Description: As a Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist - R&D you will work with a variety of R&D and Commercial cross functional teams, supporting Hikma in driving the right investment decisions in its R&D portfolio. Your responsibilities will include forecasting and planning, light accounting close activities, reporting and analytics, and decision support. You will work in a cross functional team analyzing the financial feasibility of our R&D projects in MENA by projecting and analyzing all cash flows over the lifecycle of our pipeline products from development to launch to maturity and supporting the team to make trade of decisions in our investments in R&D. You will be working directly with the R&D teams to develop and manage budgets for product development and build costs based on the project plan. You will interact directly with R&D teams to assess team spend against budget and prepare org-wide budget updates for R&D and finance leadership. It is imperative that you demonstrate analytical skills, critical thinking and command of the details. You will be expected to continually drive tangible improvements to all aspects of your role and your interactions.   Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree, either in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting Excellent communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills: the ability to effectively liaise with colleagues in a diverse multi-cultural environment. Solid organizational skills: the ability to be flexible and to apply creative problem-solving skills. Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and all MS Office applications. Experience of working with large data sets. Experience with Financial planning tools, data visualization tools such as PowerBI and ERP systems is desirable. Strong analytical skills. Work well independently and within a team environment. A passion for new technologies, and ability to understand and speak to the details thereof. Ability to manage multiple programs or projects at once, and to self-direct your efforts as appropriate among competing priorities. A couple of years’ experience Working in a financial planning or accounting role is preferred.
Responsibilities
