Job Description You will conduct operational hazardous substances management activities related to Safety Data Sheet creation, develop and administer Safety Data Sheet management to ensure compliance and improve technology performance across ContiTech globally. Your tasks are - Creation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for CT products worldwide and classify mixtures according to Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). - Maintainance and administration of central database for SDS management. - Support global CT SDS creation process in line with applicable requirements. - Staying updated on SDS aspects and related global regulatory requirements. - Information of stakeholders about relevant changes, updates, and requirements regarding SDS topics. Qualifications We require advanced expertise in safety data sheet compliance management and legal standards such as GHS/CLP, REACH, POP, and TSCA, along with a solid understanding of compliance, fluency in English, and excellent communication skills. Your qualifications are - chemical assistant, laboratory assistant, chemical engineer or comparable science; technical education minimum requirement. - professional experience in the chemical industry or comparable production with a focus on Safety Data Sheet management. - Experience in material compliance, monitoring, and analyzing chemical legislation.
