Description
The HR Specialist plays a critical role in delivering exceptional teammate experiences by providing accurate, timely, and professional HR support. This role supports daily HR operations, including teammate lifecycle transactions, compliance, onboarding, offboarding, and data integrity within ADP Lyric HCM. The HR Specialist ensures efficient processing of teammate changes and inquiries while upholding the company's values of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.   Reports to: Vice President Human Resources   Essential Job Duties: * Serve as the first point of contact for teammate and People Leader inquiries via AskHR, FreshService, and other HR support channels. * Maintain and process teammate data changes in ADP Lyric HCM, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and audit requirements. * Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a seamless teammate experience from start to finish. * Partner with HR Business Partners and Payroll to ensure accurate processing of new hires, transfers, pay changes, terminations, and other employment actions. * Support HR compliance by maintaining electronic personnel files, I-9 verification, and adherence to employment law and LRS policies. * Generate standard and ad hoc reports for HR analytics, audits, and leadership review. * Assist in implementing HR process improvements, workflow automation, and system enhancements. * Support key HR programs such as benefits enrollment, performance management, engagement surveys, and recognition initiatives. * Collaborate with teammates across the HR function to ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices. * Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and continuous improvement in every interaction. * Performs other duties as required or assigned.   Scope of Responsibility:   This is an individual contributor role that serves as the primary point of contact for teammate and People Leader inquiries. Work is performed independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function and under moderate supervision. Qualifications Knowledge and Skill Requirements: * Prior experience using ADP HCM systems (Lyric/Workforce Now/NextGen) strongly preferred.   Education & Experience: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred and a minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a shared services or operational support environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Physical Demands & Work Environment: * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. * Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. * Regularly required to talk and hear, both in person and by phone or web meetings. * Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. * Ability to read and interpret data on a computer screen or printed documents. * Work is performed in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels, in a climate-controlled environment with heating and air conditioning. * Potential for remote work or hybrid work arrangement. * May be required to lift up to 30 pounds.   Travel Required:   Travel may be required approximately 5% of the time to other LRS locations for meetings or presentations.   This job description is designed to provide a general overview of the responsibilities and qualifications required for the position.
