Fountainhead Parkway Job Family Group: Technology BMO Bank N.A. seeks Specialist III-IC Quality Assurance in Tempe, AZ to ensure the quality of products that technology delivers and work closely with all data applications, data warehouse, data marts, and infrastructure teams throughout the development/engineering lifecycle. Design, develop, execute, and maintain test plans and strategies for ETL processes, ensuring accurate transformations, integration, and loading data from source systems to target data warehouse, data mart and reporting systems. Develop detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts tailored for finance and compliance data. Perform extensive data validation to verify the data transformations, aggregations and calculations, data quality, accuracy, completeness, and consistency during ETL process. Conduct data profiling and data analysis to understand the data patterns, detect anomalies, and identify data quality issues. Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and architects to gather testing requirements, understand data transformation logic and validate ETL mappings. Detect solution failures, particularly in data processing and dashboards/reporting, to discover and correct defects. Implement test automation framework for functional, integration, regression, and end to end testing of ETL data flow. Record and document test results, test metrics, and defects using test management tools such as MF ALM or JIRA. Provide guidance on reviewing, evaluating, and driving requirements for testability to ensure adherence to review processes. Create discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems. Communicate the overall quality of a deliverable and ensure metrics are used to drive delivery and identify an area of concern. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus six (6) years of experience testing extract, transform, load (ETLs), including writing SQL queries and automation to validate data transformations in enterprise data warehouse and data marts. Specific skills/other requirements - Experience must include (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Utilizing HP ALM/Quality Center or JIRA tools to ensure applications, products and/or releases are in compliance with QA standards; Developing PL/SQL, T-SQL, and BTEQ scripts in Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata databases to validate the ETL process/design implemented in Informatica Power Center and Informatica IDQ; Performing detailed data analysis, profiling, cleansing, reconciliation and data integrity using SQL, shell scripts, Pandas (Python) and Informatica IDQ; Performing object-oriented programming using Python and shell scripting to build and implement test automation framework for functional, integration, regression, and testing of ETL data flow; and Building database analytical/aggregation functions and stored procedures to validate different drill down metrics and dashboards. Hybrid role - 2 days in office and 3 days remote per week. The salary for this specific position in Tempe, Arizona is $167,565.79/year.
