Description

PPI Financial Services GmbH is a managed services provider for the financial industry and part of the PPI Group. For over 40 years, PPI has stood for in-depth expertise in the banking and insurance sectors.

We operate business-critical applications and payment systems for banks – from PPI software to cloud-based business processes. Our range of services extends from operating individual applications to complete value chains as Software-as-a-Service. We comply with regulatory requirements and ensure stable and secure operation.

Do you want to take on responsibility in operational payment processing and contribute to ensuring that banking processes function reliably in everyday life? Then apply to join our Business Unit Process Outsourcing at our locations in Hamburg , Kiel , Frankfurt or Munich , or remotely.

Here's what you can expect:

  • Operational payment processing: You manage payment transactions in day-to-day business – e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, or instant payments. You monitor transactions, identify anomalies in the monitoring, and take steps to resolve them.
  • Electronic Banking: You process customer inquiries in German and English in Electronic Banking, e.g. regarding EBICS, and support onboarding or change processes – from coordination with the customer to implementation in the system.
  • Regulatory & Compliance: You implement regulatory requirements (e.g. PSD2, MaRisk, EBA or ZAG) and ensure that processes and procedures comply with the requirements – also within the framework of internal and external audits.
  • Cross-functional tasks: You help ensure that daily business processes run smoothly, e.g., handling customer requests, complying with SLAs, reporting, account reconciliations, and documentation via ticketing systems.
  • Interface function: You work closely with IT and specialist departments and jointly clarify complex issues when something does not go as expected in payment transactions.

You bring the following:

  • Academic background: You have successfully completed a degree in economics, finance or a comparable qualification.
  • Expertise: You have a good basic understanding of payment transactions or banking processes, e.g., how payments are processed, what requirements play a role, or you are keen to learn about the subject.
  • IT skills: You are proficient in MS Excel and are not afraid to learn new systems and applications.
  • Communication skills: You communicate clearly and professionally, both within the team and with customers, in German and English (at least C1 level).
  • Analytical skills & work style: You work in a structured and meticulous manner, maintain an overview even when handling multiple tasks, and enjoy analyzing topics and finding solutions. You work independently, actively contribute, and remain flexible even in a dynamic environment.

Everyone is welcome at the PPI Group. We see diversity as a strength and foster open, respectful collaboration – regardless of personal characteristics or life paths. We look forward to getting to know you.
