Your impact
The Specialist, IT Infrastructure Project Management will oversee the strategic planning, governance, and execution of capital projects within the Digital Infrastructure Portfolio. This role will ensure that agreed upon projects are aligned with business and Digital goals, efficiently managed, and delivered on time and within budget and transitioned to support in an efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience designing, delivering and supporting large scale infrastructure projects in the role of project manager.
  • Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent is required.
  • Has held project manager role for an end-to-end global project implementation
  • Has managed multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written presentation skills and strong verbal communication skills including technical and business focused communications.
  • PMI-PMP certification preferred.
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure projects and projects serving a global audience.
  • Must have strong business acumen.
  • Can articulate technical concepts to stakeholders and is highly collaborative with ability to work well and interact with various departments throughout the organisation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to translate complicated concepts to non-technical audience.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMP).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong change management skills to guide teams through transitions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with respect to documentation for meeting agendas, meeting minutes, action, decisions, issue management, risk management, schedule management, scope management.
  • Understanding of the mining industry, including operational processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
