About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist in Intensive and Critical Care Medicine to join a leading healthcare facility in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advanced critical care management to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), ensuring high-quality, evidence-based treatment for critically ill patients. This role requires strong clinical expertise, rapid decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary critical care team. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for critically ill patients in the ICU Manage complex cases including sepsis, multi-organ failure, respiratory failure, and trauma Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring and ventilatory support Manage invasive procedures including central venous catheterization, arterial lines, and intubation Lead resuscitation efforts and emergency critical care interventions Collaborate with anesthesiology, emergency medicine, surgery, and internal medicine teams Develop and implement individualized critical care treatment plans Ensure adherence to ICU protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and case discussions Supervise junior doctors, residents, and ICU nursing staff Contribute to quality improvement, audits, and ICU clinical governance Maintain up-to-date knowledge of critical care guidelines and best practices Requirements Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution Board Certification or equivalent specialization in Intensive Care / Critical Care Medicine Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in ICU or critical care setting (post-specialization preferred) Strong proficiency in advanced airway management and life-support procedures Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills Eligibility for UAE medical licensing (MOHAP for Sharjah) What We Offer Competitive tax-free salary package Housing and relocation assistance (depending on employer) Access to modern ICU facilities and advanced critical care technology Multidisciplinary and supportive working environment Continuous professional development opportunities Structured career progression within a leading healthcare system Salary: 60000 - 70000 AED Per month
