Description
Under the general supervision of the Business Manager, the Specialist - Inventory investigates and procures medical products, equipment and parts for the in-house CE department and construction projects. The Specialist - Inventory is involved in the coordination of medical equipment requirements for clinical departments and hospital projects, coordinates medical equipment specification information from vendors with clinical users and other stakeholders and develops equipment lists and other related documents. Responsible for preparing initial reports, schedules and documents.   Responsibilities include soliciting quotes and coordinating purchasing information with the hospital’s purchasing department for the final procurement of daily departmental purchases as well as specific medical equipment. Responsible for logging, checking and processing invoices. Involved in the coordination of equipment information between all CE managers, staffs, project managers, warehouses and delivery functions.
