Job Description The Specialist Inventory Controller is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, maintaining optimal stock levels, and strengthening inventory control processes across warehouse operations. The role focuses on identifying discrepancies, analyzing stock performance, and coordinating with internal teams and third-party logistics partners to maintain effective inventory governance. Responsibilities: Perform regular inventory counts, cycle counts, and physical audits to ensure inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. Maintain optimal inventory levels to support business needs while minimizing overstock and addressing non-performing inventories. Monitor and analyze inventory trends, usage, and turnover rates. Generate and present regular inventory reports to management. Develop and implement KPIs to track shrinkage, inventory performance, inventory turnover, stock cover, and GMROI. Identify inefficiencies in inventory processes and recommend improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and ensure alignment. Ensure data integrity and timely updates to the system for all inventory transactions. Support the demand planning team with inventory-related insights. Ensure inventory storage meets organizational standards and complies with safety regulations. Regularly inspect stores and storage areas to ensure proper handling of products, especially expired/damaged and supplier returns. Support the Inventory Lead by acting as the primary escalation point for inventory disputes involving Operations, Finance, and 3PL partners Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong understanding of inventory principles and practices. Commitment to accuracy and efficiency in managing inventory tasks. Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs. Work Environment: Work may involve periodic visits to stores and warehouses. May require physical tasks, such as lifting and moving products during stock audits.
