MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To manage tier 2 and 3 support for flydubai’s operations departments, to ensure that IT solutions are effective and provide seamless business continuity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports and delivers on key initiatives from the business plan and technology strategy leveraging re-use, eliminating duplicate components, architectural design and use of innovative products.
  • Builds and supports teams for Engineering departments and conducts pre-project studies and actively take part in lifecycle of projects using the agreed templates and laid out processes.
  • Manages Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Engineering department’s IT systems and propose corrective actions on major deviations.
  • Collaborates closely with designated business units to establish Maintenance Window to ensure minimum disruptions to business operations.
  • Oversees emergency fixes to address critical issues and obtain timely approvals from respective departments for any outage required.
  • Identifies and analyzes reporting and data warehouse requirements of the designated business areas in a timely manner and be the single point of contact for data related queries from designated business areas and liaise with IT sections to rollout effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Identifies for areas of improvement in this regard and provides input to the BI Specialist for additional training needs for the designated departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years)
  • BS/BA degree in Information Technology. Masters level degree in Business/Finance/Management preferred.
  • Fluent in English
  • 6 - 8 years
