Description

Responsibilities Work as a team player to implement and deliver IT Network services to support business applications and ensure alignment with the Corporation’s strategic direction and standards Plan and execute network equipment upgrade, administration, security vulnerability patches and documentation update. Follow up on changes, incidents and problems related to IT wired and wireless network services, copper and optical fiber cabling infrastructure, and the data center network. Manage, troubleshoot and support the majority of the following network technology and infrastructure: IT infrastructure covering LAN/WAN, wireless network, domain name services and application delivery technology Network routing & switching, network security, network load balancing, network access control solution Cisco networking software (IOS and NX-OS), H3C or Huawei network OS, Aruba Wireless controller software (ArubaOS), F5 BIG-IP TMOS, Fortinet FortiOS software Network monitoring tools and technologies (Solarwinds NPM, SNMP, Netflow, MRTG, Telemetry) Support daily network in multiple MTR offices, stations and depots Provide standby support for first-line network incident calls on a roster basis and planned / ad-hoc network activities during non-office hours Liaise with technology partners and vendors to deliver the required services Requirements Degree in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Science or a related discipline A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in IT network implementation projects, BAU support, hands-on troubleshooting, for large-scale organizations and datacenter networks Relevant experience in LAN/WAN, wireless technology, network routing & switching, network security, and network load balancing; multiple brands of (Cisco, H3C, Huawei) networking software, Aruba Wireless controller software (ArubaOS), F5 BIG-IP TMOS, Fortinet FortiOS software; Cabling provisioning workflow; railway telecom and network support enviroment is preferred Possession of certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, F5-CA or equivalent is an advantage Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Self-motivated, able to work independently and under pressure with good analytical skills Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese Applications You are invited to apply online via http://www.mtr.com.hk/mtr_job_en or send in your CV stating the position (with reference number) you are applying for by mail to Human Resource Management Department, MTR Corporation, G.P.O.
