POSITION SUMMARY
The Specialist, Knowledge and Legal Operations (KLO), plays a pivotal role in supporting the KLO team’s daily operations and strategic initiatives. Reporting to Canada Director, KLO, and working closely with the broader KLO team including, KLO lawyers and the Director of Legal Operations, the Director, Research Services and Records Management and the Paralegal Operations leadership team, this position is responsible for coordinating a variety of projects and administrative tasks that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the KLO function.
The Specialist will be instrumental in managing communications, ensuring adherence to timelines for projects and other deliverables, supporting financial processes, preparing high-quality presentations, organizing meetings, and ensuring seamless project execution across the team. The role is a dynamic one that involves coordination and prioritization of multiple projects across the different facets of the KLO team, including legal technology, research services, paraprofessional operations, and other aspects of practice support. As such, the role requires adaptability as well as strong organization and communication skills to effectively manage the diverse priorities and timelines.
