The Specialist, Leads Qualification plays a critical role in driving Leica Biosystems' commercial success by identifying, validating, and qualifying customer leads from digital and offline marketing initiatives. Acting as the first point of contact for potential customers, this role ensures that high-quality leads are passed to the sales team, accelerating pipeline development and supporting revenue growth. The individual will leverage digital marketing campaign insights, execute lead qualification calls, and contribute to optimizing the customer journey. This role will report directly to EMEA Marketing Director with Strong Dotted Line to Digital Marketing Team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead Qualification & Customer Engagement Qualify and categorize all leads generated through country-level digital marketing initiatives, trade shows, website inquiries, online search, email campaigns, and social media. Serve as the primary bridge between marketing and sales, ensuring seamless handover of validated leads. Identify customer needs and interest in cancer diagnostics instruments and consumables, assessing readiness to engage in a sales conversation. 2. Tele Lead Generation & Campaign Execution Conduct outbound prospecting calls to follow up on digital marketing campaigns and new product launches. Identify key decision-makers within laboratories, including those responsible for purchasing and those involved in technical research or daily operations. Execute high-quality, targeted phone conversations to generate sales-ready leads at or above defined targets. 3. CRM & Database Management Maintain and enhance the customer and prospect database, ensuring accuracy and completeness of lead contact details. Validate and update customer information based on direct interactions, data enrichment processes, and third-party list acquisitions. Utilize tools like Zuant for lead capture at events and integrate data into Salesforce.com for streamlined lead management. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree with experience in B2B telemarketing, inside sales, or lead qualification, preferably in healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences. A Master’s degree with experience will also be considered. Fluent in English and French (required) plus either Spanish or Italian (additional language skills are a strong advantage). Excellent communication and sales engagement skills Technically proficient in lead management tools: Experience with Salesforce.com (SFDC) or similar CRM platforms. Familiarity with Zuant or other lead capture tools for event-based lead acquisition and integration with CRMs Competence in basic data entry, reporting, and lead-tracking processes.
