Job Description Responsibilities: Draft, review, negotiate and advise on a variety of agreements, such as NDAs, vendor, lease, marketing, recruitment, loan, employment, IP licensing contracts, and data protection agreements Provide strategic legal advice to stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance with the company’s business objectives Update contract templates as necessary Develop and implement procedures for contract retention, management and administration; including the use of Onit Assist with beginning to end process for legal matters (sometimes includes assisting with approvals or signatures/electronic or wet signatures) Responsible for all corporate governance and corporate secretarial matters Ensure compliance with company's standard contracts and other corporate policies Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders and liaise with our APAC and global HQ legal teams to ensure common standards and practices on contracts Manage and resolve disputes involving multiple stakeholders, including handling cases filed with regulatory authorities and external parties Conduct legal research to support business initiatives, policy development, and informed decision-making Conduct training for stakeholders to implement legal and compliance best practices Qualifications Requirements: Either: 3+ years’ relevant experience as a paralegal / legal specialist OR 2+ years’ relevant experience as a practicing lawyer or in-house counsel Hands on experience in broad commercial law in-house or with a reputable law firm Demonstrated experience in drafting and reviewing commercial terms across a broad range of contracts E-commerce/internet industry experience is preferred but not a must Commercially astute, highly driven, and pragmatic with strong influencing expertise Strong interest in contracts and contract administration Good communication and interpersonal skills; organised and meticulous Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision and under pressure Some experience in advising on data protection and corporate secretarial will be advantageous Additional Information What we offer A dynamic and challenging work environment.
