Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing corrosive risks, supporting project development, and resolving technical issues related to corrosion across various phases of oil and gas operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor s degree in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corrosion engineering within the oil and gas industry
  • In-depth knowledge of corrosion mechanisms and their effect on production systems
  • Proven experience in construction and commissioning of corrosion control infrastructure
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
  • Must be NACE CIP-2 certified

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (PREFERRED)

  • Experience with corrosion modeling software and data analysis tools
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain corrosion control systems, including cathodic protection, coatings, and chemical inhibition systems
  • Evaluate the corrosive potential of process fluids and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Assess corrosion risks, including erosion and degradation of pipeline and equipment integrity
  • Oversee the construction and commissioning of corrosion monitoring and control equipment
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including operations, maintenance, and HSE
