Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP) activities to ensure timely availability of stock items required for operations, maintenance, connections, and projects.
  • Conduct continuous inventory review for Main Warehouse stock items and periodic review for Sub/Satellite Warehouses in accordance with the approved replenishment cycle.
  • Analyze stock levels against approved inventory control parameters, including Safety Stock, Reorder Point (ROP), Reorder Quantity (ROQ), Maximum Inventory Level, and Target Inventory Level.
  • Identify materials that have reached or fallen below ROP and coordinate the initiation of replenishment through the approved Create and Approve Purchase Requisition process.
  • Calculate replenishment quantities considering order quantity, open purchase orders, stock in transit, pending return quantities, current inventory level, and target/max inventory levels.
  • Prepare and maintain shortage reports for ad-hoc material requirements outside the regular replenishment cycle, including material code, description, shortage date, and shortage quantity.
  • Coordinate with End Users to validate demand forecasts, consumption trends, material criticality, and future requirements for O&M, connections, projects, and other operational needs.
  • Review historical consumption, demand trends, and corrected outliers to support accurate forecasting and inventory planning decisions.
  • Coordinate with Sourcing and Procurement teams to obtain lead-time information, support tender planning, and align replenishment requirements with procurement and delivery timelines.
  • Support the Annual Procurement Plan (APP) by consolidating material requirements, validating quantities, and aligning inventory planning inputs with approved budget and operational needs.
  • Maintain and review SAP/MM planning parameters and material master data inputs related to MRP, including planning data, inventory control parameters, procurement indicators, and replenishment settings.
  • Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, excess, obsolete, and dead stock items and recommend actions to improve inventory health and reduce financial and operational risk.
  • Coordinate stock transfer requirements from Main Warehouse to Sub/Satellite Warehouses based on approved target inventory levels and operational demand.
  • Prepare MRP, inventory, shortage, PR, zero-stock, and inventory value reports to support KPI monitoring, management review, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure MRP activities comply with EtihadWE Supply Chain Policy, approved procedures, Delegation of Authority, data confidentiality, and internal control requirements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives related to MRP implementation, SAP S/4HANA readiness, inventory optimization, master data governance, and standardization of inventory planning practices.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Supply Management, Sourcing, Finance, IT/SAP teams, and End Users to resolve planning exceptions, stock availability issues, and material requirement discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 years experience in MRP, inventory planning, replenishment, material master data, SAP/MM, and supply chain operations.
  • Professional certification in supply chain, inventory management, or planning such as APICS/CPIM, CSCP, CIPS, or equivalent is preferred.
  • SAP/MM, SAP S/4HANA, MRP, inventory planning, or materials management training is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret consumption, stock, shortage, PR, and replenishment data.
  • Ability to calculate and review Safety Stock, ROP, ROQ, Maximum Inventory Level, and Target Inventory Level.
  • Strong coordination skills with End Users, Warehouse, Sourcing, Finance, and SAP/IT teams.
  • Ability to prepare clear reports, dashboards, KPI updates, and management summaries
  • Attention to detail in validating material codes, descriptions, quantities, and SAP planning parameters
  • Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP), inventory replenishment, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and stock control principles
  • Knowledge of SAP/MM or ERP materials management functionality, including inventory planning parameters and material master data governance
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain Policy, operational procedures, Delegation of Authority, and internal control requirements.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools for analysis, tracking, and performance monitoring.
