Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm or 10:00am–6:00pm (rostered a month in advance)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are a busy, well-established specialist medical practice seeking an experienced and professional Medical Receptionist. This is a fast-paced, highly automated environment requiring strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
You must have proven experience using Genie software and be confident managing a wide range of administrative and patient-facing tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet patients and manage check-ins with professionalism
• Verify and update patient details and referrals with accuracy
• Handle high-volume phone lines and appointment scheduling
• Process payments via Square and submit Medicare claims
• Manage doctor and nurse diaries efficiently
• Liaise with the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Open and close the clinic depending on shift
