ABOUT YOU

We are seeking an experienced Consultant who has:

  • A specialist qualification: UK CCT (MRCOG) or Irish CSCST (MRCPI)
  • Eligibility for the AHPRA specialist pathway (we provide full guidance and support)
  • Demonstrated experience in a consultant role, including the supervision of junior doctors

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £185,000.00-£255,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

This is a hands-on consultant role within a large, collaborative team. A typical week includes:

  • Managing a diverse roster of antenatal and gynaecology clinics, elective theatre (including Caesarean section lists), and labour ward cover
  • Providing on-site consultant cover for acute obstetrics and gynaecology, including after-hours and weekends
  • Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff to meet RANZCOG accreditation standards
  • Actively contributing to service planning, clinical governance, patient safety reviews, and guideline development
