Join us as a Specialist Operator in our Christchurch based Construction team! We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced specialist operator to join our Christchurch construction team. In this role, you will be seen as an all-rounder, operating a variety of specialist machinery related to civil and roading works, to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard. In addition to the above you will: Operate a variety of plant and machinery to complete all tasks assigned, including 5-30 tonne excavators, rollers, skid steers and loaders. Interpret plans and specifications to deliver exceptional results. Assist the team with general labouring duties as and when required. Complete machinery checks as and when required. Monitor plant maintenance, keeping timely and well organised records. We’re looking for someone with: A Class 2 Licence (Class 4 advantageous) WTR Endorsements Significant experience operating a variety of civil construction machinery, e.g. 5-30 tonne excavators, rollers, skid steers and loaders. The ability to interpret relevant plans and specifications. A Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the civil construction industry or similar. Flexibility to perform various daily tasks, including getting on the shovel when needed! A proactive approach to health and safety - it’s our #1 priority!
