Position Overview The Specialist Oral and Dental Surgeon will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a range of surgical conditions affecting the oral cavity. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in performing complex dental surgeries and collaborating effectively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. Key Responsibilities Evaluate and diagnose oral health issues through detailed examinations and imaging studies. Develop individualized surgical treatment plans for patients, addressing their specific needs. Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including tooth extractions, dental implants, and jaw realignment surgeries. Provide post-operative care and follow-up to ensure optimal recovery and patient satisfaction. Collaborate with other dental and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient treatment plans. Educate patients on procedures, potential risks, and aftercare to promote informed decision-making. Stay updated with the latest advancements in oral and dental surgery to enhance clinical practices. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) specializing in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Board certification and an active license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Extensive experience in performing surgical procedures in an oral health setting. Strong knowledge of oral pathology and surgical methodologies. Excellent interpersonal and patient communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
