Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon - University Healthcare at SearchPlus HR SearchPlus HR is excited to announce an opportunity for a Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to join the University Healthcare system. In this role, you will provide exceptional surgical care to patients with complex oral and maxillofacial disorders in an academic healthcare setting. This position allows for both clinical practice and involvement in teaching and training future healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and manage a variety of conditions affecting the oral and facial regions, including trauma, infections, and congenital anomalies. Perform advanced surgical procedures, including jaw surgeries, facial reconstructive surgeries, and dental implant placements. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including dentists, orthodontists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Supervise and mentor surgical residents and medical students in clinical and surgical settings. Conduct research and contribute to advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery within the university framework. Participate in community outreach and educational programs aiming to improve public health awareness regarding oral and maxillofacial health. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Demonstrated clinical experience in a variety of surgical techniques specific to oral and maxillofacial conditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring. Commitment to research and academic contributions to the field. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Excellent problem-solving skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
