We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Implant & Oral Surgeon to join our growing practice. As we expand, you’ll play a key role in building a loyal patient list and establishing your specialist services at the practice.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Essential: Registration on the Specialist Register as an Oral Surgeon or equivalent (Level 2 qualification in Oral Surgery if not on the Specialist Register).
• Extensive experience in oral surgery, particularly in implant placement (both simple and complex cases).
• Proficient in handling surgical extractions, impactions, and minor oral surgery procedures.
• Experience in performing treatments under sedation, especially midazolam sedation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to work independently and grow a patient list in a newly established practice.
• GDC registered with the appropriate qualifications in Oral Surgery and Implantology.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Implant & Oral Surgeon to join our team at EA Dental Practice. The role will start with 1 day per month, with the potential to extend to 2 days per month as you begin to build a patient list. Over time, the role may evolve into a weekly commitment as the patient base grows.
As an Implant & Oral Surgeon, you will work alongside our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatments. You’ll have access to the latest digital equipment, including CBCT, Digital Scanners, all within a fully digital workflow. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow their own patient list and make a significant impact on the practice’s success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform surgical extractions, including simple and complex impactions.
• Carry out minor oral surgery procedures such as biopsies, soft tissue management, and other minor surgical procedures.
• Place and restore dental implants, handling both simple and complex cases.
• Collaborate with restorative specialists to ensure seamless patient care.
• Administer midazolam sedation when necessary for patient comfort.
• Build and maintain a growing patient base, providing exceptional care and follow-up.
• Ensure adherence to clinical governance and best practice standards.
• Contribute to the growth and success of the practice by fostering strong patient relationships.
