Responsibilities

ABOUT THIS ROLE

Newmont is seeking a Specialist, People Insights to help shape the future of workforce intelligence through data-driven strategies and analytics. This role will play a key part in analyzing people productivity metrics, workforce supply and demand modeling, and workforce planning insights to help inform enterprise-wide business decisions.
As our Specialist, People Insights, you will work closely with People Business Partners, Site HR teams, Finance, and Business Unit leaders to build and maintain tools that translate workforce data into actionable recommendations. You’ll apply advanced analytical methods, develop communication templates for employee surveys, and produce dashboards and learning materials that support the continuous improvement of our global people strategy.

YOUR ROLE WILL CONSIST OF

Here is a snapshot of what your day to day will look like:

  • Analyze people productivity data across geographies and provide strategic insights.
  • Build and maintain workforce planning models, incorporating internal benchmarks and future demographic trends.
  • Identify critical job clusters and anticipate future workforce supply/demand dynamics.
  • Conduct employee survey analytics and develop templates to effectively communicate results.
  • Produce insights from employee metrics such as absenteeism, training, and PTO for business planning.
  • Benchmark internal workforce productivity against external market data.
  • Develop dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Excel.
  • Create learning content and materials related to people insights to upskill internal teams.
  • Respond to and analyze Business Unit-specific data requests and scale insights for broader application.
  • Support the annual health check review process for workforce planning models.
