We have a fantastic opportunity for a GDC Registered Specialist Orthodontist to join our team at Whitby Dental & Implant Clinic in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
We are a well-established local family practice with a great reputation. With 80 years of supporting our local community. Our surgeries are smart and well equipped and we have an experienced support team who enable our clinicians to focus on patients, dentistry and delivering the best possible outcomes.

We can offer you:

  • Start Date: January 2026 however a later start can be negotiated
  • Role due to a clinician leaving the practice
  • Days and Hours: 1 to 2 Friday’s per month with the opportunity to grow to further days
  • GDC specialist Orthodontist required for this role.
  • Excellent earning opportunity.
  • Onsite Parking available at the practice
  • 6 Surgery practice

Qualifications

  • Specialist Orthodontist qualification from a recognised institution
  • Full registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Specialist in Orthodontics
  • Proven experience in a private orthodontic practice
  • Strong clinical skills and proficiency in modern orthodontic techniques and technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Membership in relevant professional organisations, such as the British Orthodontic Society
  • Willingness to mentor and support colleagues (for experienced candidates)
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing practice needs and patient requirements
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements
