Who are we looking for? We are looking for a self-motivated Specialist Patrolperson to join our hard-working team and deliver the good work we are known for. The job This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with a background in civil infrastructure or someone with building and/or handyman experience, who is highly capable of completing physically demanding work. You will join a friendly, close-knit team running out of a small depot in Stratford, where everyone gets along and is willing to help one another. You will primarily be responsible for minor roading maintenance and repairs on the Stratford District roading network. Self-motivation and self-discipline are a must, as this role involves independent work and sole charge of the work truck. If you enjoy variety and working outdoors this is the job for you, with a vast array of daily tasks to complete and freedom to roam the district, whilst still being accountable for each day. Experience and attributes: Full Class 2 license minimum WTR Endorsements preferred but not essential Building and/or handyman experience and skills. Experience driving heavy vehicles on narrow rural roads Possess the ability to work independently Sound computer knowledge, with data entry ability Extremely safety conscious and detail orientated Comfortable working independently and safely in a rural environment Good level of physical fitness Be honest, hard-working and willingness to give anything a go Possess a positive, can-do attitude We’re Fulton Hogan You’ve probably seen us around.
