PAYMENTS SPECIALIST

to join our Payments team at Espoo, Finland. This is a fixed term position for parental leave substitution until the end of October 2026.

Payments team is part of the Global Financial Services (GFS) organisation and it provides financial services globally at Neste. Financial transactions are processed, controlled and analysed centrally under GFS. We are working on a hybrid model, with at least three days a week at the office.
Payments team is responsible for ensuring that all payments are done in a timely and accurate manner globally and enabling reliable payment transactions information flow between banking partners and Neste. Together with you and your expertise, we can make an impact today and keep our promises for tomorrow.

KEYS TO SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE

• Good knowledge in banking and payments area
• SAP FICO knowledge
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; Finnish language skills are an advantage
• Applicable education, e.g. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Curious attitude and desire to develop

• Process incoming and outgoing payment transactions
• Handling and posting bank statements
• Reconcile payments
• Ensure the compliance with Neste’s internal controls
• Perform Payments closing tasks according to the global closing schedul
