JOB DESCRIPTION:

Magnum Clinic is looking for a Specialist Pediatric Dentist (Pedodontist) who is passionate about working with children and creating positive dental experiences. As a Pedodontist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to infants, children, and adolescents, including those with special healthcare needs. Your gentle approach, clinical expertise, and ability to communicate with children and parents will play a key role in fostering long-term oral health from an early age.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DHA License or Eligibility as a Specialist Pediatric Dentist.
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Pediatric Dentistry.
  • Proven clinical experience in managing pediatric patients, including those with special needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children and parents.
  • A caring, calm, and patient demeanor with a strong focus on preventive care and education.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and maintaining high standards of care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct dental assessments and preventive treatments for children, including examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
  • Perform pediatric dental procedures such as pulpotomies, pediatric crowns, space maintainers, and extractions with child-friendly techniques.
  • Manage dental anxiety in children with compassion and, when necessary, apply behavior management or sedation methods in line with clinical guidelines.
  • Educate parents and children on proper oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive care for maintaining lifelong dental health.
  • Monitor the growth and development of children’s teeth and jaws, and provide interceptive orthodontic care when appropriate.
  • Work closely with other dental specialists, general dentists, and staff to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and adhere to best practices and clinic protocols.
  • Stay updated with advancements in pediatric dentistry through continued education and training.
