Position Purpose: To ensure efficient and effective execution of StoneX Specialty Coffee domestic transactions. This role’s primary purpose is contract performance, inventory control, releases on time, truck quotes (LTL) and risk mitigation - ensuring accurate execution, payment performance, and safe transfer/release of title for domestic transactions. Responsibilities Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities: The Physical Trade Operations Specialist will execute and coordinate domestic trade transactions for the Specialty Coffee Program. Primary responsibilities will include: Coordinate with Front Office, Clients, and Vendors to execute purchase and sales transactions. Ensure the optimal execution of daily releases through consistent high-quality service to the final customer. Collaborate with traders on position follow-ups and needs. Perform trade control activities to ensure safe transfer and release of title documentation for domestic trade flows. Daily Inventory Management & reconciliation of physical commodity movements. Coordinate with internal teams, brokers, and logistics providers to ensure efficient handovers and position checks. Review and approve all assigned service invoices to ensure cost accuracy in timely manner. Ensure payment performance to Stonex Specialty Coffee suppliers according to contracts and StoneX controls. Trade Settlement - Create ticket applications against contract parameters Creation of Inventory, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cost accrual entries according to transfer title of product, Delivery Orders, etc. Create and send commercial invoices on proper time (After or before releases). Process settlement checks for approval payment to suppliers and clients Formulated Accounts Payable Pre-Payment Advances Process daily calls/mail/emails from Customers, Vendors, Truckers and Warehouse facilities to problem solve institute logistical movements of inventory assets Performs monthly inventory reconciliation and adjustments to business line requirements Monitors aging payables and receivable balances and escalates to Front Office/Mgmt as appropriate Communicates with management and brokers regarding outstanding issues Resolve any customer payment discrepancies Preserve orderly records of reconciliations This list of responsibilities may not be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in international business or supply chain or Logistics. 1-2 Years of experience in international commodity trade Fluent in both Spanish and English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrate experience in coffee logistics as a significant advantage for this role. Demonstrated ability to assess risk and mitigate/problem solve with sense of urgency Strong attention to detail and accuracy Maintain a customer-oriented mindset to manage expectations and execute tasks to high standards. Flexible and adaptable with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft office product
