As a Pharmacist with Curaleaf, you will enable patients to reach their optimum level of health and independence, adhering to an exemplary standard of care consistently.
This is a full-time Sunderland based role and will require site presence 2-3 days per week.

To be successful in this role, it is essential you:

  • Are a GPhC Registered Prescribing Pharmacist (IP)
  • Have post registration experience within a clinical setting
  • Have experience with research & audit processes, SOP writing, and clinical protocols
  • Are knowledgeable around cannabis treatment assessment, management, and evaluation
  • Can direct and co-ordinate programmes of care
  • Embrace change and can implement more effective ways of working when needed
  • Keep up-to-date with changes and progressions in treatments

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

In this role, you will support patients through their Curaleaf journey, from initial enquiry to ongoing evaluation and management. This will include providing phone and online health screening to patients to assess their suitability for treatment. You will ensure effective treatment plans are implemented and supply of medicines are made in line with protocols and policies.

Duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • Providing an effective, patient-focused service
  • Evaluating, organising, and prioritising workload
  • Advising and supporting both a defined caseload and peers
  • Dealing professionally with follow-ups and issues, taking a proactive, resolution-focusses approach and learning from complaints, using the correct escalation process when necessary
  • Maintaining accurate patient records
  • Attending and contributing to Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings
  • Providing patients and carers with relevant and accessible written information regarding their treatment
  • Offering clinical advice on the management of patients taking cannabis to other professionals
  • Assisting with pain management audits, and research/quality improvement projects
