This role will initially focus on providing 1:1 support for a complex Year 6 pupil, helping them to settle into Year 6, establish firm boundaries, and remain engaged in learning. Longer term, your role will expand to supporting pupils across the whole school, making this an exciting opportunity to have a lasting impact.

Responsibilities
  • Provide consistent 1:1 support for a Year 6 pupil, helping them to settle, build trust, and remain focused.
  • Set clear, firm, and fair boundaries while fostering a positive and supportive relationship.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers and pastoral staff to ensure a consistent and nurturing approach.
  • Support the delivery of engaging lessons across the curriculum, adapting to individual needs.
  • Gradually transition into a wider support role across the school, working with pupils in other year groups.
