Job Description Our National Real Estate department is seeking Procurement Specialists to join the National Procurement team of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury NSW. There are two positions available – one Permanent and one Fixed Term position (18-months). In this role you will be responsible for the efficient end-to-end procurement and specification management across ALDI, with a focus on enhancing our Mechanical Systems category. The ideal candidate will thrive within a fast-paced corporate environment, collaborating with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers across multiple departments and projects to secure and manage high-quality commercial agreements. What does the role look like? Lead end-to-end procurement and supplier management for mechanical systems including HVAC, refrigeration, fire protection, and Building Management Control Systems (BMCS /BMS). Collaborate with technical teams to support design, commissioning, maintenance planning and lifecycle management of mechanical assets. Assist in evaluating supplier capability and driving contract performance and projects specifically relating to mechanical system components, including IoT-enabled monitoring and energy efficiency solutions. Manage contract performance to drive our suppliers to meet contracted SLA’s and KPI’s. Apply sound project administration skills to manage timelines, priorities, milestones, issues and risks. Lead budget estimations, sourcing operations, review purchase bids and negotiate with suppliers. Conduct spend analysis, review supplier data, analyse market trends, identify industry benchmarks and prepare reports to influence decision making. Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of agreed processes. Assist the Executive Manager with presentations and projects as required. Qualifications Experience and strong understanding of mechanical systems design, procurement and contract management, including HVAC, refrigeration, fire safety systems, and BMCS/BMS. Familiarity with technical specifications, compliance standards and vendor management in mechanical or building services contexts. Ability to engage with technical stakeholders and translate complex mechanical requirements into supplier agreements. Demonstrated experience in Project Management or Coordination desired. Knowledge of Mechanical System design & specification trends and best practices highly regarded. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Acute attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure across multiple projects. Additional Information Remuneration: Transparent tiered salary range of $118, 200 - $140, 900 including Superannuation.
