Your Role As a Procurement & Supplier Risk Specialist, where you’ll play a strategic role in strengthening supplier risk management across the enterprise. This role is all about uplifting supplier risk capability, embedding best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. In your role you’ll: lead and contribute to strategic risk uplift projects and enterprise-wide initiatives. lead, drive, and develop processes, tools, and controls that strengthen supplier risk management act as an advisor for supplier risk queries and initiatives. partner with multiple risk and governance teams to embed effective risk practices recommend enhancements based on assurance testing or incidents. build capability and confidence through training, guidance, and support for local risk champions. collaborate with Group Risk to provide actionable insights via dashboards, reports, and governance forums identify emerging risk trends and track progress on supplier risk maturity. This full-time role is open to candidates based in Gadigal Country (Sydney), or Naarm (Melbourne). About you To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have the following: Proven experience in procurement, supplier risk, or third-party risk management. Strong understanding of risk frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., APRA CPS 230 is highly regarded). Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills across multiple business units. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
