JOB SUMMARY

The Project Support Specialist (PSS) supports the Project Director/Manager with all aspects of the project. The PSS, under the direction of the Project Director/Manager, works with the project team to facilitate and supervise day-to-day management of the project, including, but not limited to; working with the team to provide schedule updates, cost and financial updates, managing of contract data submittals, scheduling of meetings, capturing and publishing meeting minutes, and creation and publishing agendas and presentation.

KSAS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Strong desire to progress into a Project Manager leadership role
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial management is a plus.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor Degree is a plus.
  • Length of Experience: 3 years experience working in a project or program environment.
  • Certifications: PMP is a plus.
  • Reviewing government contracts is a plus.
    In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $61,680 to $92,520. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements)

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Under the authority and direction of the Project Director/Manager, facilitate and supervise day-to-day project management activities for the project
  • Lead project team in providing updates to schedule, cost and change in scope updates
  • Manage contract data submittals and project data repository
  • Work with project controls to compile and review project metrics, providing reports to project and American Ordnance leadership
  • Support bids, to include development of Statement of Works, Work Breakdown Structures, Integrated Master Scheduler generation, and pricing, during the design and construction phase of the project.
  • Perform administrative support functions for the project, including, but not limited to; generation of purchase requests, scheduling of meetings, capturing and publishing meeting minutes, and creation and publishing agendas and presentation.
