Are you an experienced litigation lawyer looking for the next step in your career? The Crown Prosecution Service is recruiting specialist prosecutors to join our Serious Economic, Organised Crime International Directorate (SEOCID).
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for qualified barristers and solicitors with post-qualification experience of litigation in serious and complex crime. You must hold a valid Practising Certificate for England and Wales, and have experience of drafting high quality written analysis of complex legal or evidential issues.
Extensive experience in criminal practice and dealing with complex disclosure issues and international enquiries is desirable, but not essential.
As specialist prosecutor you work as part of a multi-skilled team to ensure the effective and successful prosecution of cases. You work with enforcement agencies including the Police, HMRC, National Crime Agency, Immigration Enforcement and international prosecutors, to assess evidence, determine charges, and advise on complex, high-profile cases.
You represent the Crown Prosecution Service, both internally and externally. You communicate with victims and witnesses; keeping them informed about the progress of their case and arrange support to help them to give their best evidence in court.
You play a vital role in maintaining public confidence in our work.
