The Specialist supports provincial service delivery by developing and implementing standards, coordinating initiatives, providing subject matter expertise, and facilitating collaboration across operational areas and system partners. The Specialist contributes to achieving the Saskatchewan Health Authority's strategic priorities by supporting consistent, evidence-informed practices across provincial service lines. The Specialist demonstrates strong leadership to enable an innovative and positive working climate and a client-centric culture. The Specialist must work cross functionally within the portfolio and across the organization to support operations. The Specialist will develop partnerships and work closely with system and community partners. Licenses * Valid Class 5 driver's license Education * Bachelor Degree in a related Health Science or Social Science discipline * Bachelor of Administration (BAdmin) Experience * 3-5 years' experience in a related area  * Experience developing and leading planning and programs in complex environment Knowledge and Abilities * Knowledge of legislation and applicable laws * Knowledge of First Nations and Metis history in Saskatchewan * Proven ability to collaborate and partner with a wide variety of stakeholders * Commitment to a diverse, culturally competent, culturally safe work environment * Demonstrates and is recognized for strategic and operational leadership * Has demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Knowledge of the healthcare system in Saskatchewan. * Able to balance needs/interest of diverse groups & maintain strategic priorities * Committed to delivering on patient and family centred care * Ability to articulate mission, vision and strategy and charts a path forward. * Exemplifies ethical practices, professionalism and personal integrity * Has demonstrated strong critical thinking, financial and analytical skills * Has demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop others * Commitment to quality, safety, and improvement striving towards zero harm * Promotes innovation, guides change and is committed to continuous improvement * Mobilizes people, inspires and sets an example for others * Knowledge in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Calls to Action Other Information  * Travel within Saskatchewan  * Registered/eligible for registration with the appropriate licensing body The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
