As a Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d), you will ensure the reliable supply of materials for our customer projects by proactively managing bottlenecks, coordinating collaboration with suppliers, and minimizing delivery risks. Working closely with the purchasing, logistics, and project teams, you will make a significant contribution to project continuity and operational excellence.

Proactively manage material shortages to ensure the smooth support of ongoing customer projects.
Identify critical material requirements and potential supply risks early on. Monitor delivery dates and order confirmations, and consistently follow up on outstanding supplier commitments.
Escalate delivery problems with suppliers and initiate corrective actions to minimize delays.
Prioritize and coordinate material requirements in close collaboration with project management, production planning, manufacturing and logistics.
Support procurement activities, including supplier offers, order processing and the identification of alternative sources of supply.
Maintain accurate ERP data (proALPHA), create bottleneck and status reports, and proactively take measures to avoid project delays.

Showcase your skills

Completed commercial or technical vocational training or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in material planning, material management, purchasing or supply chain management in a production or project-oriented environment
Solid knowledge of dealing with material shortages, including demand planning, supply chain tracking, escalation with suppliers and operational purchasing.
