Role description
Guidewire PolicyCenter Quality Analyst
Responsibilities
Design test plan test cases for Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration and Conversion functions
Work in a fast paced cross functional agile ScrumSAFe work environment
Work with client SME and test manager to define and review test requirements strategy plans etc
Develop and execute test cases scripts plans and procedures manual and automated
Establish and oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics such as status reports defect metrics and effectively use tools and processes like Jira ALM etc to ensure quality goals are met
Develop SQL scripts to query databases
Test requirements for Guidewire Rating module Rate book rate table rate routines
Test integrations using tools like SOAP UI Postman Etc
Review functional specifications developed by BAs in the form of User Stories process flows use cases data mappings leveraging tools such as JIRA Confluence Rally etc
Conduct user story sprint demonstrations at the end of sprint release
Participate in agile sprint ceremonies daily standups sprint planning reviews and retrospective sessions
Experience working on automation testing tools like Selenium UFT RPA tools is an asset
Exposure to Behavior driven development BDD testing
Technical Skills
At least 8 to 10 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating
Experience in web service testing tools such as SOAP UIXMLJSON POSTMAN
Experience in testing components like Policy Premium testing Product designer underwriting rules etc
Proficient in Test Management Tools JIRAHPQCVSTSTFS
Knowledge of Selenium QTP Ranorex Excel Macro using VB Scripting or any other Test Automation Tool
Awareness of Test Automation and ability to spot points of value in process
Knowledge of both Manual and Automation testing skills
Must have
Sound Knowledge of Test Plan Test Strategy and Test Execution
Understanding of full testing life cycle right from the requirement gathering to delivery
Experience testing multitier webbased applications
Knowledge of various Integration Points
Project management tools like Confluence Jira Rally etc
Good to have
Knowledge on APISOAP UI Automation
Integration testing skills validation of XML files
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills Testing Experience
AINS 21222324 Certification
Having ISEBISTQB Software Testing qualifications would be an added advantage
Having Knowledge of SQL Database Testing
Experience in working in Agile methodology
